European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Tuesday that the trade agreement between Britain and the EU will give each side tools to ensure compliance with that accord and the Brexit divorce deal between them, and would use them if necessary. It came as EU lawmakers were set to vote on the post-Brexit trade agreement amid concerns by some over British changes regarding Northern Ireland.
