Members of the Peterborough Alliance for Climate Action delivered a letter to the office of MP Maryam Monsef – demanding more ambitious goals for reducing emissions in the country. The protest occurred after the first day of the Leaders Summit on Climate where it was announced that Canada reduce its emissions by 40 to 45 percent by the year 2030.
