Officials with the National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) and Health Canada said Tuesday that they weren’t concerned with the safety of the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 despite concerns the vaccine might cause blood clots. The say the number of these events is “lower than the rates that would be expected in the population.”
