Protesters in Yangon hurled Molotov cocktails at police who fired back at them on Sunday morning as a crackdown on anti-military coup demonstrations entered a second day. Video filmed by local media showed chaotic scenes as protesters dragged away injured people to the safety of buildings. At least 18 have been killed in the bloodiest day of protests against the coup. Myanmar was thrown into chaos when the army seized power and detained elected government leader Aung San Suu Kyi and much of her party leadership, alleging fraud in a November election her party won in a landslide.
