Manitoba’s acting deputy chief public health officer Dr. Jazz Atwal announced on Friday that three confirmed cases of the B.1.1.7 COVID-19 variant that first originated in the United Kingdom were identified in the province, bringing the total number of cases of the variant to four. Atwal said the three confirmed cases of the variant have since recovered.
