Some Canadian taxpayers trying to check into their Canada Revenue Agency accounts found out their emails associated with the accounts had been deactivated. The CRA says it wasn’t hacked but it instead proactively worked to head off a cybersecurity threat. As Sean O’Shea reports, those who experienced being shut out also faced several hours on the phone trying to get answers.
