Ontario Education Minister Stephen Lecce on Saturday said he had seen the province’s COVID-19 modelling numbers that are scheduled to be released on Monday and commented that they were “alarming.” Lecce says there was a 117 per cent spike in cases among young people between Dec. 27 and Jan. 3 when schools were closed.
