Halifax Regional Council’s environment and sustainability standing committee has unanimously voted in favour of investigating declining water levels at Williams Lake in Halifax, and examining a set of proposed solutions to the problem. But as Elizabeth McSheffrey reports, some local recreationalists are concerned that by the time a fix is funded, it may be too late for the lake.
