Peterborough Evinrude Centre to be renamed Healthy Planet Arena; no pay raise for next city council

Peterborough city council voted to change the Evinrude Centre’s name to Healthy Planet Arena through a 10-year sponsorship agreement.
City council also voted to maintain councillor pay for the next term but they will receive health benefits, a car allowance and a pension plan contribution.
