It isn’t often that the Courage to Come Back Award is given posthumously. But when 18-year-old Lindsey Lourenco was nominated in the youth category she was very much alive. A force to be reckoned with, who had overcome cancer four times. All the while, keeping up a brave and cheerful front to spare the people who loved her the pain she endured.
