NDP leader describes Trudeau’s election threat as outrageous and absurd

NDP leader Jagmeet Singh reacted to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s election threat on Tuesday by saying it’s outrageous and absurd to threaten an election during the second wave of the coronavirus. Conservatives presented a motion to create an anti-corruption committee to look into government spending, including the WE Charity controversy, which Trudeau designated as a confidence motion.
