Coronavirus: Canada’s top doctor explains what officials will watch for during back-to-school period

Canada’s chief public health officer Dr. Theresa Tam provided information on what trends officials are looking for as students head back to school amid the COVID-19 pandemic, including if the age group of COVID-19 case distribution changes, and whether lab testing positivity rates shift. Tam added that “there will be no blanket approach across the country,” as it is important for them to look at situations locally.
