White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany attacked Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday over her recent visit to a hair salon, saying “she was not working in good faith to make a deal for the American people” when she went indoors to a hair salon in San Francisco and demanded that she apologize. Pelosi said Wednesday she takes responsibility for trusting the word of a San Francisco hair salon that it was OK to come in for a solo visit — even though the city still does not allow indoor beauty services because of the coronavirus pandemic.
