Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Monday condemned the vandalism of a Montreal-area statue of Sir John A. Macdonald during anti-Black racism protests, saying he was "deeply disappointed." Although condemning the act, he repeated his calls to do better as a nation regarding combating racism, particularly anti-Black racism.
