The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is investigating multiple illegal shootings of geese in Campbellford.
Three geese were shot with crossbows and left for dead with the arrows lodged inside them.
One of the fowl is recovering at Woodlands Wildlife Sanctuary in Minden.
Woodlands, a registered charity, nurtures wildlife back to health so they can be released.
Jessica Nyznik reports.
