When a deadly F3 tornado hit the Green Acres Campground at Pine Lake on July 14, 2000, there were only two radar stations in Alberta and they weren’t capable of monitoring all storm activity. Kent Morrison and Phil Darlington explain how things have improved vastly in the two decades since then.
