Assistant chief of emergency management of the City of Winnipeg Jay Shaw announced on Tuesday that the city is restoring its libraries’ services in late July/early August and recalling approximately 195 community service staff who were temporarily laid off due to the pandemic in order for the facilities to operate once more.
