When asked about airlines selling the middle seat, doing away with social distancing measures on flights, Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam said “careful thinking” is recommended before travelling, including not leaving Canada unless it’s essential and limiting domestic travel but doing so in a way as safe as possible. She said wearing a face mask is also recommended should you choose to fly.
