Health Minister Tyler Shandro told reporters on Monday that as far as he understands it, the Alberta Energy Regulator has not suspended any environmental monitoring requirements even though it has. When asked to clarify his comments, government officials said he meant to speak about the monitoring requirements of the ministry of Alberta Environment and Parks. It is not clear which monitoring requirements Alberta Environment and Parks was referring to.

Health Minister Tyler Shandro told reporters on Monday that as far as he understands it, the Alberta Energy Regulator has not suspended any environmental monitoring requirements even though it has. When asked to clarify his comments, government officials said he meant to speak about the monitoring requirements of the ministry of Alberta Environment and Parks. It is not clear which monitoring requirements Alberta Environment and Parks was referring to.
