Andrew Scheer critical of foreign minister’s latest disclosure to ethics commissioner
Leader of the Official Opposition Conservative Andrew Scheer said on Friday that “he’s not surprised” with Justin Trudeau’s choice of his Foreign Affairs Minister to be François-Philippe Champagne, given the recent ethics commissioner disclosure on June 4 that indicated Mr. Champagne has a $1.2 million debt to a Chinese bank. Scheer brought up remarks Trudeau made in 2013, saying that he “admires China’s basic dictatorship.”
