George Floyd death: Pelosi says there are ‘plans to take action’ in Congress

U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday called the death of George Floyd, who died in Minneapolis, MN on Memorial Day after a police officer kneeled on his neck for several minutes “sad.” She said that in Congress, there are “plans to take action” to prevent similar situations, including the Commission on the Social Status of Black Men and Boys, that Congresswoman Frederica Wilson has, as Pelosi puts it, “been pushing for a while.”
