A Peterborough reservist with the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment has been identified as the victim of a weekend motorcycle crash north of Peterborough.
OPP say a motorcycle crashed on Northey’s Bay Road in North Kawartha Township on Saturday afternoon. The motorcyclist was airlifted to a Toronto hospital where he died of his injuries.
On Tuesday, OPP identified the victim as Maury McCrillis IV. Friends and family say he was a master corporal with the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment where he was a bagpiper.
