Coronavirus outbreak: Trump denies accuracy of report showing supply shortages in U.S. hospitals

U.S. President Donald Trump commented on an inspector general report that found U.S. hospitals were short on the medical supplies needed to fight the novel coronavirus. The president denied the report was accurate and demanded to know where the inspector general came from, asking “what’s his name?” The office of the Inspector General is currently led by Christi Grimm, the principal deputy inspector general.
