Coronavirus outbreak: Champagne says it is possible government can’t bring all stranded Canadians home

Speaking at a press conference Thursday morning, Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister François-Philippe Champagne said that while the government continues to make every effort to return Canadians stranted abroad by the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s now time to accept the truth that it may not be possible to bring all stranded Canadians home amidst the slew of travel restrictions, border closures, and other barriers.
