Speaking to reporters at the White House Monday, U.S. President Donald Trump contradicted his many previus statements when he said that the spread of COVID-19 is not “under control”, either in the U.S. or globally. Trump told reporters his many previous declarations that the virus was “under control” was a reference to the U.S. response, not the virus itself.
