Canada and Africa have ‘everything to gain’ from working together: Trudeau

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke about his recent trip to Africa on Tuesday, stating that Canada and the countries he visited in Africa share many common goals, including fighting climate change and advancing gender equality, and that they have “everything to gain” from working together on these issues. Trudeau, who is campaigning for a U.N. Security Council seat, made the comments during a pitch to African diplomats at the Ottawa headquarters of Global Affairs Canada.
