Winnipeg Police Const. Rob Carver said on Monday, in relation to a recent homicide found at a hotel, that some downtown and urban hotels that have “less expensive rooms and less expensive alcohol” show a different market and “all of those places tend to attract varying degrees of criminal elements.”
