Crackdown on Iranian protests killed 1500, report says

An investigation by Reuters uncovered that 1500 people are thought to have died in last month’s protests in Iran; a number that is much higher than initially estimated by human rights groups and the U.S. government. The sources also said that the crackdown on the protests was personally ordered by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
