It hasn’t exactly been a smooth transition since a new company took over recycling collection and processing in Peterborough city and county at the beginning of this month.
A number of residents have complained about their blue bins being picked up late, or not at all. But the city is defending its decision to award the contract to Burlington based Emterra Environmental and says these issues will not be long term. Katrina Squazzin has the story.
