Trump impeachment hearing: George Kent full opening statement

George Kent, a high-ranking civil servant at the State Department, delivered opening remarks as the first official impeachment hearings for U.S. President Donald Trump began Wednesday morning in Washington. Kent is one of two witnesses the committee will hear from as it investigates whether the President attempted to incite Ukraine to investigate the son of his political opponent, Joe Biden.
