Federal Election 2019: Trudeau says he ‘agrees’ with Human Rights Tribunal on First Nations children

Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau said on Saturday that his government “agrees” with the Human Rights Tribunal’s ruling ordering Ottawa to compensate First Nations children and families separated by an underfunded child-welfare system, and “will be moving forward to compensate them.”
