New Brunswick Premier Blaine Higgs was asked about the federation of provinces on Friday, answering that “we don’t act like a nation.” When asked about Quebec, Higgs said “when you get $13 billion a year in transfer payments for being part of a nation, then there’s got to be some obligation to this economy.”
