Federal Election 2019: Singh says NDP would put in place laws to allow municipalities to ban guns, target root causes of violence

NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh said Friday that if elected they would put in place laws to allow municipalities to ban guns, but said they also would target the root causes of violence, such as investing in affordable housing, good jobs and access to education.
