Ontario Education Minister Stephen Lecce said on Aug. 22 that the new sexual education curriculum instated by the Conservative government allows for parents to opt-out of certain lessons if they oppose their religious views. This move comes after a lengthy province-wide consultation process with parents to revamp the Liberal’s former curriculum.
