After a weeks-long manhunt, RCMP announced Wednesday that Bryer Schmegelsky and Kam McLeod are believed to be dead. The bodies believed to be that of the suspects were first transported by boat and then loaded in a trailer. They were then taken to the airport in Gillam so they could be transported to Winnipeg for autopsy. The bodies were transported separately, each in an RCMP plane.
