2M protest in Hong Kong despite leader’s apology

Hong Kong’s Chief Executive Carrie Lam is apologizing today over the China-backed government’s handling of politically charged legislation that led to massive street protests. She has suspended the extradition plan, which would have sent some suspects to stand trial in mainland courts. But as Jennifer Johnson explains, demonstrators are still showing up in the millions, demanding for the bill to be completely axed and for Lam to step down.
