Facebook broke law, failed to protect Canadian users’ privacy

An investigation by federal and provincial privacy commissioners has found Facebook committed serious violations of Canadian privacy laws. Facebook is denying the report, and commissioners are now calling on legislators to force the company to change its privacy practices, or give stronger sanctioning powers to regulators.
