2019 Edmonton Pride Festival cancelled

A leaked email that was sent out by the Edmonton Pride Festival Society on Tuesday says this year’s Edmonton Pride Festival won’t go ahead. The reason why were not immediately clear but the email said it had to do with the “current political and social environment.”
