Founded following the death of Kirk Gaskell, the Gaskell Cup had small beginnings as a pond hockey tournament. Now in it’s eighth year, the event is taking place March 30 at the Evinrude Centre, with NHL great Bob Gainey lending a hand. Co-founder Chad Cavanagh stopped by Global News Morning Peterborough to talk about the tournament, and remembering Kirk.
