Researcher and geriatrician says proposed provincial health care changes in Ontario, including Peterborough, sound promising

Dr Jenny Ingram , geriatrician and expert in monitoring and addressing dementia, speaks with The Morning Show about gaps in medical care for seniors and what the new health care structure could mean for Ontario seniors.

She says the whole topic of dementia is fascinating, but that seniors would be able to get more help, quickey, with things like developing more appropriate assessment tests.

She’ll also address the layered senior care model in East Central LIHN (Peterborough & Area) and how no other LIHN in the province experiences this level of community connection to care.
