Saskatchewan’s Shiloh People: the province’s first black farming community

Between 1907 and 1912 around 1500 African American families settled in western Canada, escaping the growing racism in the United States. Not far from the Alberta border Katelyn Wilson has the story of one group whose legacy has been preserved for years to come.
