Protests as Ford convenes midnight session at Ontario’s Queen Park

Determined to push forward with a bill to reduce Toronto’s city council, angry protesters pushed back during a raucous overnight sitting of the Ontario legislature. As Eric Sorensen reports, after invoking the notwithstanding clause to override a court ruling against the bill, it’s the latest manoeuvre by the Doug Ford government, which is determined to get its way.
