B.C. Wildfires: Help from Canadian armed forces no longer needed
More than 13,000 square kilometres of B.C. was burned by more than 2,000 wildfires this year.
That’s the largest total on record. The Canadian Armed Forces sent hundreds of troops to assist this province in the fire fight, but as the summer winds down and cooler temperatures roll in, they’re now packing up, and heading home.
