Many of the surviving members of the Humboldt Broncos were on hand at the NHL Awards on Wednesday night as head coach Darcy Haugan, who was one of the 16 members who died in the tragic bus crash in April in Saskatchewan, was posthumously honoured with the first ever Community Hero award. Haugan’s wife accepted the award on his behalf.
