Alleged Thalidomide victims see hope in Federal budget

Canadians who have lived with the effects of the drug thalidomide have been waiting for decades for recognition. Not all of them had the documents that proved their conditions were connected to the drug, leaving them out of a compensation deal. As Mike Drolet explains, now they have hope they can avoid a courtroom battle.
