Tue, Jan 2: There are renewed calls to create a national alert system to better protect at-risk children. It’s a concept being pitched after a system failure resulted in the death of Alex Radita. As Jill Croteau reports, ‘Alex Alerts’ would be similar to ‘Amber Alerts’ and would notify other provinces when at-risk children vanish.
