Kawartha Land Trust secures new property

The Kawartha Land Trust is known in the community for protecting areas in the Kawarthas and conserving natural environments. One of their latest major successes was securing Boyd Island, an island on Pigeon Lake originally planned to have 95 residential lots built on it. Now, the not-for-profit organization has secured The Darling Property, on the north shore of Clear Lake. Lindsay Biscaia stopped by a few of the Kawartha Land Trust properties today, including The Darling Property.
