A grad student at Wilfred Laurier University has run straight into the chill that exists on many university campuses these days. She was engaging students in a discussion about gender identity, and the use of the pronouns ‘he’ and ‘she’. But as Mike Drolet explains, it ended up sparking a big debate about free speech.
