People in the Spanish region of Catalonia are due to begin voting in an independence referendum. Madrid says the vote is illegal and has taken steps to stop it. But many Catalans want to press ahead anyway, and are even sleeping out in polling stations to make sure the vote happens. Jennifer Palma reports.
