It’s never a good idea to stare at the sun, but millions of people will be looking skyward during next week’s near-total solar eclipse. Special glasses make it possible to view the moon passing in front of the sun safely, but sadly the market is being flooded with fakes. And as Tanya Beja reports, they can do some serious damage.
